All are welcome + All are valued + All are loved
The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd is worshiping in-person again as we emerge from Covid-19 quarantines. Service times for Holy Eucharist each Sunday are 8:00 AM (Rite I) and 10:30 AM (Rite II).
* Following recommendations from the CDC and guidance from Bishop Ruth Woodliff-Stanley and the Diocese of SC, Good Shepherd's Mission Council has agreed that masks are optional for all indoor activities.

Meet The Rev. M. Dow Sanderson, Priest-in-Charge
Good Shepherd’s Priest-in-Charge, Father Dow Sanderson served in full-time ordained ministry for more than 30 years, retiring as Rector of Church of the Holy Communion in Charleston in June of 2017.
Still eager to be helpful in ministry, Fr. Dow made his desires known to continue serving beyond retirement to Bishop Adams, and a few weeks later, began his work at Good Shepherd, Summerville. His general schedule is three mornings a week in office, and evening meetings and pastoral calls as needed. He celebrates and preaches on Sundays and on Wednesday evenings during the program year. Fr. Dow also teaches adult Christian formation classes. Dow and his wife Fiona have two grown sons, Noah (and his wife Sarah) of Charleston and Nick, of Texas. Dow's mother Julia has also joined them in the Good Shepherd family. Dow enjoys reading, music, and being on and in the water. A private pilot, he and Fiona love flying and sightseeing over the beautiful South Carolina coast. |
